Easter at Grandma Jane's coming up 4/24/2011.... hope to see you there

Just a quick heads up about the dinner we are organizing for Grandma Jane at her condo on EASTER.

· dinner will be potluck and we will be having an Easter EGG hunt for the kids

· we plan start at 2pm at her condo 977 East 5700 East South Ogden

· please bring a side dish or a desert to share with the group

· kris is bringing a Ann is bringing a big batch of potatoes’

· Ann is bringing the eggs filled with all kinds of goodies for the kids

· mark is bringing a big bucket of chicken

· Sarah is bringing an appetizer

· Kami is bringing a dip

· we still need deserts and salads or veggies

Leaded glass windows in the Pingree Mansion still there today - 2604 Jefferson Avenue - on the market for under $500,000 - let me know if you would like to make an offer to purchase the property which includes the adjacent church

Lots of people say that James Pingree looked like "King Henry the 8th I am" with a 54 inch waist, he might have looked just like him? What do you think?

Doctrine and Covenants

This was given to Sarah Pingree as a gift for Christmas from her husband James Pingree.

Hat Pin

This hat pin belonged to Sarah Pingree, James Pingree's wife.

Lighter

This lighter was Grandpa Earls from when he worked as an Accountant at Farmer Grain Coop.

Knife

Belong to Curtis Allison who was Grandma Ruth's Husband. He received this knife as a gift from the Sheriffs Department.

Napkin Holder

This belonged to Ruth Hinds, from what I believe.

Business Cards

These are my dads(Rich) from when he worked for the Paper Company.

I thought it would be kind of fun for us to share all of the old heritage stuff with each other. I have enjoyed being able to see these things, so if you have stuff from our heritage I would love to see them.

All of these things have been given to me from my dad (Rich), which were given to him by Grandma (Jane) Pingree. Except for the Doctrine and Covenants and that was given to me from Grandma (Jane) Pingree about 6 years ago.

James Pingree was a major Stock holder among the original founders. Originating stocks were purchased @ $100 per share and sold for $6,000,000 per share in 1978 when Utah Construction Company was sold to General Electric.
